Emma Bailey Scholarship
The Friends of the St. Albert Children’s Theatre provides the Emma Bailey Scholarship for a student in grades 8 – 12 drama/performing arts to attend the SACT Summer Drama Camp program.
The funds supporting this program have generously been provided through the Emma Bailey fund in recognition of Emma Bailey’s love of sport and theatre and her qualities of leadership and enthusiasm. The intent and purpose of the Fund is to enhance the ability of children and youth living in low-income or other disadvantaged circumstances to participate or otherwise experience the benefits of sport, recreation, and children’s theatre.
Criteria for nominating a student are:
- Not otherwise being able to attend the SACT summer program due to financial need
- Entering grades 8 – 12 in September 2012
- Residing in or near St. Albert
- The ability to attend the summer program July 16 – 27, 2012 from 9 AM – 4 PM and the performance on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 7 PM.
- An interest in participating in Musical Theatre
